But there is a story behind the song and here it is as explained by Edward Khil, the Trololo man himself:.
That Downy Commercial With The “Hush Hush Baby” Song
There was one big problem though: the song was written in Soviet Russia and so a story about an American cowboy riding free on the range had no chance of making it past the censors back then.
It had to be changed. He is glad and everyone around him is glad. We are all very happy and everyone is glad…lololo. But the spirit of the song lived on in between the lines and the sound of the song was kept in the American style as much as was possible. Another interesting Trololo related story is that Edward Khil had no clue that he was super famous on the internet until his grandson came home one day humming the Trololo song:.
Nobody banned its lyrics, but my father just composed the music when his relations with Lev Oshanin deteriorated. The latter told him that the lyrics are more important and that a composer is nothing without a lyricist. I also watched the interviews and found him charming. That was cool. So which one is right, or are they both partially right or what I wonder.
But the Soviet Artistic Council censored almost all of the song text due to its unsoviet nature. Cowboy and farm were especially criticized.
The word cowboy brought to mind associations with saloons and showdowns, and the word farm was controversial because all private, incollective forms of agriculture were prohibited in the Soviet Union. This created several problems. First, it would take a significant amount of time to rewrite the text and have it approved. There was another problem: other singers were pretending to be the first performers of the song.
Russian Proverbs and Sayings
With no time to spare, Khil suggested singing the song without words, instead vocalizing tro-lo-lo and tra-la-la. This seemed like a good idea as there was nothing controversial or punishable for such a performance.HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA

The video begins in the desert on the planet Tatooine. Yankovic uses the Force to get a resonator guitarand in the second verse he reappears performing in a Mos Eisley cantina leading a band also dressed as Jedi. In the last verse, he returns to the desert; and in the last chorus, numerous "Obi-Wan" clones sing as a group.

A new theory aims to make sense of it all. Verified by Psychology Today. What Shapes Film? He was fascinated by how pop singers pronounce some words especially the vowels in unique ways when they sing, and wondered why singers are compelled to do this?
Intriguing question! Here's the full response I gave him, with some added musical illustrations. Creatively, you inhabit the attitude and character of the song through the way you form the words. To display more colors timbres of the voice.
In the same way, you can explore a whole range of qualities and colors of sound from forming lyrics in different ways while singing, because it essentially changes the shape and dimensions of your instrument - which in turn affects timbre tone color of your voice. Especially when you play with the vowels - because vowels are what mostly carry the tune in song. And that can really change the timbre or sound quality of your voice.
There are numerous examples. Melodies are carried mainly by the vowels in the lyrics. Opera singers also pronounce words differently when singing than when speaking; it's not just pop singers. And sometimes it changes the way the listeners will hear the structure of the music. For instance, forming a word a little differently can interplay with the rhythm or melody to anticipate the beat, drag behind the beat, or create more musical emphasis. It sharpens the hook.Esaltare sinonimo treccani
It probably makes a singer more distinctive as we often identify things by how they deviate from the standard. And it might make our senses more alert because we have to pay more attention. It can give the singer and the song more character when the way the lyric is sung becomes part of the musical impact. But it's a balancing act- because if there's too much deviation, lyrics can sound too affected or contrived, and the intelligibility of the words can suffer.Hexaware exit offer date

Zoonie Thanks for bringing the interesting case of "Louie Louie" to my attention. I looked up the case in the FBI vault, where there's a brief report that they were checking the song for obscenity because the original recording by The Kingsmen was so unintelligible! Later there was a version by the Beach Boys but I prefer the incomprehensible original! But it's a great example of singers changing pronunciation as the second line of the chorus sounds like "Louie Louie Louie Lou-eye" to rhyme with cry.
